I have loved creating images since I was a child.
I wore out hundreds of pencils with my sketches, converted the family camcorder into my own production gear, and took so many photographs that the techs at the local Fotomat saw me more than my family some days. This love of capturing a story or creating my own was well nurtured by my grandfather who was both an inventor and a photographer. I was captivated by the magic of watching his images emerge in the darkroom revealing dimensions to life often missed or overlooked. That sense of wonder still fuels my work today - driving me to explore, create, and capture moments with a fresh perspective. Whether I’m photographing the intricate texture of a single grain of sand or documenting a high school soccer team on media day, my aim is always the same: to uncover and highlight the complexity of life that often lies hidden in the smallest details.
